Woman’s body found in ditch in Guntersville; homicide investigation underway
The victim was identified as Faleisha Thompson, 42. She was from Athens.
A homicide investigation is underway after the body of a woman was found in a ditch early Monday morning in Guntersville, authorities said.
Marshall County Coroner’s Office personnel were dispatched to J.W. Darnell Road in Guntersville around 1:30 a.m. Monday on a female found dead in a ditch, said Coroner Cody Nugent.
