By Katherine Knott A group of Republicans in the House and Senate is asking the Government Accountability Office to investigate the Education Department’s launch of the new version of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The new form, delayed by three months, launched earlier this year, though the rollout was rocky. It’s been a big start to 2024 for Colman Domingo and Ayo Edebiri who — after earning their first Oscar nomination and Emmy win, respectively — lead the pack of film and TV nominees for the 55th NAACP Image Awards. Domingo is nominated for three awards: outstanding actor in a motion picture for “Rustin,” outstanding supporting actor for “The Color Purple” and entertainer of the year, the ceremony’s top prize. Courtesy of Coppin State University  Coppin State University announces its selection as one of eight recipients of the T. Rowe Price Foundation’s impact grants. The foundation has committed a total of $2.25 million to foster growth in the nonprofit community in Baltimore.
